Each month, volunteers from the Gardner Rotary Club staff the Hope Market Food Pantry. For three hours, community members can "shop" Hope Market for food of their choosing. This gives them the freedom to choose what is best for their family.

Rotary members assist and oversee the market as 40-50 citizens make their choices. Sometimes there is fresh produce, meat and dairy products as well. When the market's commercial refrigerator broke, Rotary stepped up to provide a new one, with a grant from the Gardner Rotary Foundation. Providing fresh dairy products is so important to many families, especially those with small children. No one is turned away from the Hope Market, and by volunteering, Gardner Rotary is helping to give Hope to those in need in its community.
